Statement and where we stand

At FINDS, users' safety and security are of the utmost importance to us. We are constantly working hard to make sure the app is a safe, tolerant and inclusive space where people can connect and express themselves in a creative and healthy way. 

We want to make it clear that whether this behaviour comes in the form of listing descriptions, video, live streams, comments, direct messages or any other part of the app, we’ll always act on anything that contravenes them.

The resale market is full of buyers and sellers supporting each other and striving to achieve the same goals. Here at FINDS, we want to maintain that mentality, and one of the ways we do this is by focusing on the simple policy of behaving respectfully to all users. There’s no room on FINDS for hateful, inappropriate or discriminatory behaviour. These terms outline the behaviour that we expect from our community.

Discriminatory behaviour or hate speech

FINDS has a zero-tolerance policy with discriminatory behaviour or hate speech against any of the following. Any negative remarks on other users' appearance will be strictly forbidden. Positive observations about others' physical appearance are also not advised, as we know sometimes people’s feelings on these comments aren’t always received in the way that you intended. There are such a wide array of perceptions on body image, and we believe that our differences should be celebrated, not picked apart. We will not allow discriminatory behaviour, whether that is in your content, or through actions you take when communicating (or not communicating, with another user (e.g. deciding not to sell to someone because of a trait or characteristic).

Discrimination will not be tolerated on the FINDS app, including but not limited to the list below:

  • Ethnicity

  • Race

  • National origin

  • Religion

  • Caste

  • Sexual orientation

  • Sex

  • Gender

  • Gender identity

  • Serious disease

  • Disability

  • Immigration status

Prohibited Content

To keep our users safe and happy we have prohibited the following content from being used on our app. We are able to remove comments, listings and accounts from the app at our discretion if we believe them to be violating these:

  • Illegal activity

  • Nudity

  • Content of a sexual nature

  • Advertisements

  • Drinking/Smoking in videos

  • Hate Symbols

  • Hate speech and discrimination - slurs

  • Non-items (all uploads must be listings of items)

  • Harmful content (eg. self-harm, encouraging disorders)

  • Harassment & bullying

  • Violent Behaviour

  • Payment details (leading to payments outside the app)

  • Out of app purchases

  • Use of others content

  • Fraud & scamming

  • Misinformation

  • Intellectual property violations

  • Inappropriate language

  • Grooming

Prohibited Items

  • Dropshipping including AliExpress items

  • Accessories of a sexual nature

  • Counterfeit items

  • Abusive/offensive items (e.g. inappropriate text/racist images)

  • Perfumes and cosmetics

  • Stolen Designs

  • Replicas

  • Stolen Property

  • Goods from embargoed countries

  • New Leathers and Furs

  • Exotics

  • Non-fashion related items

What we are doing to keep the platform safe

Our app is constantly surveyed by our team for any behaviour that goes against our terms of use. In the event that an issue slips under our radar, we encourage our community to look out for one another and would be very grateful for you to report anything that doesn't look right.  From there, we will take all reports very seriously and open an investigation, taking action where necessary.
