Sometimes parcels get lost, or are sent back to a seller without being delivered to a buyer. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as:

  • The address was input incorrectly by the buyer or seller
  • An error made by the post office / shipping provider
  • The buyer missed the delivery or did not claim the parcel from their depot

In the instance of a parcel being lost or returned to the sender by mistake, you should try to work out an agreement between yourselves that is fair to both parties. Consider who is responsible for the mistake, and whether or not the seller can make a claim from the shipping provider.
